The HiLight S2+ was featured at the opening of the San Diego Metropolis!

The showcase stage was the new convention centre in Santiago, where Atlas Copco's solar light trucks and energy storage power systems brought green power solutions to add to the conference's low-carbon theme.

 

This inauguration of Metropolis Santiago de Chile, a world-class conference and event centre, occupies a total area of 16,000 square metres, with 11,300 square metres of green space dedicated to complementary events and 51,000 square metres of parkland.

 

 

Atlas Copco's HiLight S2+ solar-powered light truck was deployed to guard the entrance to the venue, illuminating the night and welcoming more than 600 organisational delegates. In addition, the ZBP 45 energy storage power system was used as the main source of power for lighting the dedicated areas of the building to bring in a steady supply of electricity.

 

This green combination of HiLight S2+ solar light truck and ZBP energy storage power system, with zero fuel consumption, zero emission and zero noise, brought an impeccable new experience of night lighting to the guests.

 

 

The San Diego Metropolitan Development Manager says that this partnership with Atlas Copco is a key factor in the success of our conference, where we have a clear and unified vision of green and sustainability. The two zero-noise and zero-emission machines on site are what the world of industry expects in the future.

 

Compared to conventional technology, the HiLight S2+ uses solar energy storage lighting technology and is equipped with 4x90W LED floodlights that provide 2000 square metres of lighting coverage. Capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -5°C to +50°C, it provides a reliable light source that can help users complete 11-hour work shifts with ease.
